Barrie's classic tale and featuring an unforgettable score, Peter Pan is one of the most beloved and frequently performed family favorites of all time, and is now adapted for young performers. Peter, a boy who refuses to grow up, and his mischievous fairy sidekick, Tinkerbell, visit the nursery of the Darling children late one night and, with a sprinkle of pixie dust, begin a magical journey across the stars that none of them will ever forget. In the adventure of a lifetime, the travelers come face to face with a ticking crocodile, the fierce Brave Girls, a band of bungling pirates and, of course, the villainous Captain Hook. Peter Pan JR. is a musical filled with magic, delight, just a fairy dusting of heartbreak, and a resolution that underscores the importance of family and community. |

MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS
classic murder mystery | January 17-25, 2025 at the Cedar Street Playhouse auditions on October 7 & 12 This stage adaptation of Agatha Christie's classic murder mystery novel of the same name is set in 1934 on the luxurious Orient Express train traveling from Istanbul to Western Europe. When an avalanche stops the train in the snow, passengers discover the body of a wealthy American tycoon stabbed eight times in his locked compartment. World-famous detective Hercule Poirot must solve the murder before the killer strikes again. The play features a swift-moving script, broadly drawn characters, exotic settings, and a murder with many suspects. Ken Ludwig's clever adaptation of the Agatha Christie classic boasts all the glamour, intrigue and suspense of Dame Agatha's celebrated novel, with a healthy dose of humor to quicken the pace. |
